Todd Kaminsky is a New York State Assembly member representing the 20th District on the South Shore of Long Island. This district includes the communities of Long Beach, Atlantic Beach, East Atlantic Beach, Lido Beach, Island Park, Oceanside, Point Lookout, East Rockaway and the Five Towns, including Woodmere, Lawrence, Cedarhurst, Inwood and Hewlett. ==Early Life and Career== Todd was born and raised in Long Beach, NY. He received his bachelor's degree, summa cum laude, from the University of Michigan, and his law degree, magna cum laude, from New York University Law School. Todd worked as an assistant district attorney in the Queens D.A. office, prosecuting domestic violence cases, robberies, shootings and other violent crimes. As a community advocate, Todd raised funds and held free legal clinics following Hurricane Sandy. For his efforts, he was awarded the Community Service Award from the U.S. Attorney's Office for the Eastern District of New York and the Long Beach Martin Luther King Center’s Sandy Relief Service Award.
